Letter from First Lady Sharon Darden

Congratulations to my husband and Pastor, Rev. Don A. Darden, Jr., on the recent completion of his Doctor of Ministry, (DMin) from Liberty University. Pastor Darden holds a B. A. and MSM from Strayer University, and an MTh and MDiv from Liberty University. As part of the Liberty Baptist church family, our children (Stephon & Alexis), our daughter in law NaKesha, our grandchildren (Mariah and Lola), and the entire Liberty Baptist Church family, we take this time and space to congratulate him on his academic and scholarship excellence. We know it hasn’t been easy for him, but through much prayer and supplication the Lord has blessed him to persevere and given him the strength to do as Langston Hughes encourages us to do in times like these, ‘See it Through!’ I close with the borrowed words of Andre Crouch—Bless the Lord, O my soul. And all that is within me. Bless His holy name.
