Liberty Baptist

Love God, love people, love life

Come fill your soul and find rest

And thus you shall greet him: "Peace be to you, and peace be
to your house, and peace be to all that you have." 1 Samuel 25:6

New at Liberty Baptist?

Liberty Baptist Church is a community of faith committed to connecting with God and caring for others. If you desire to join with us, and will be supportive of the beliefs, fellowship, and mission of our church, we warmly invite you to become a member.

To join our growing and welcoming congregation, you may make an appointment with one of our Deacons or present yourself for membership during any Worship Service when the invitation is given at the end of the message. A minister or deacon will make an appointment to meet with you to answer your questions and guide you through the new membership orientation process and you will be introduced to the church congregation, giving our members the opportunity to meet and welcome you.

If you are simply interested in finding out more about Liberty we cordially invite you to attend one of our new membership orientation classes every Sunday morning from 9:45 until 10:45. There is no obligation but this orientation will help you have a better understanding of who we are and how we function. Although these classes are not mandatory for those who simply join, they are mandatory for any new member who desires to work in ministry.

New members are received in one of the following ways:

Profession of faith and Baptism

If you have never received Jesus as Savior and Lord and/or never publicly confessed Him, you will be given an opportunity to do so. After your decision has been confirmed, an appointment will be made for your baptism.

Transfer of membership from another Baptist Church

If you are currently a member of another Baptist Church, or some other Christian denomination, we will receive you as a member upon promise of a letter from that church. We will contact that church to notify them of your decision and request your letter.

Statement of faith

If you know in your heart that you have previously experienced salvation by receiving Jesus as Savior and Lord, we will be happy to receive you. It will be necessary for you to be baptized if you have never been baptized by immersion after your salvation experience, or if you were baptized in a church which holds a different view of salvation, baptism, or eternal security.
